Vlog 6: Uncertainty & Synchronicities

It’s been a busy first week, so I’m posting this video a couple days after I recorded it. It’s a bit long at 11 minutes and 11 seconds but then I smiled at the very synchronicity of « 11:11 »— the number of the angels! How I recorded and ended it unknowingly at that very second, I have no idea! So I decided not to trim it…

I’ve been learning to ride the waves of fear as I also experience intermittently #grace and #flow. Despite obstacles, answers and solutions are flowing in and I’m thanking God for the day I just had— genuinely thanking God, not out of a ritual/ exercise to say gratitude. I’m organically and whole-heartedly thanking #god for the day.

The more the synchronicities and solutions flow in, the more I am beginning to trust the support and the more my fear subsides —even when another obstacle appears!

At the very end of this video, when I first watched it and heard myself say, « I’m feeling more secure than I ever felt in my life », I thought « that can’t be true, why did I say that? » Then I realised why I felt and said that: The #security I’m referring to in this moment is the CONNECTION or trust/support I’m more attuned to. It’s not that I’m feeling more secure than other times (because my current situation is definitely not more secure!) but that my connection with the support that is guiding me through this is #stronger, and giving me a sense of #security and #peace (and less #anxiety) though many future “how’s” are still TBD…

Hope this is making some sense?

Ultimately, I believe #peace (and therefore security) lie in using our gifts to create love. We naturally create love when we use them just because we’re excited and happy while using them… And it draws people in and makes all of us feel just a tad bit better in this world. The reward for using them is the peace and flow we experience when using our gifts.

About Me

Hello, I'm Jacquie. I am an artist currently studying in Athens, Greece, under Robert Bodem to further hone my skills as a professional, figurative sculptor.

Beginning April 2024, I will also be working at Community House Damaris, a charity that empowers trafficked and exploited women to find freedom and recovery. I will offer them sculpture classes as part of their healing and skills-development programme. Learn more.
